How to connect to our FTP site

Our FTP site is available via two methods. The first is just using an FTP client and connecting to ftp.chem.indiana.edu. Depending on the permissions of the documents you wish to retrieve, you or your group may have been given a username and password to connect to. If you do have a username, you will immediately be placed in the directory on our server that you need to be in.

If you are connecting anonymously, you can navigate to the appropriate directory by selecting the groups folder, and then selecting the Chemistry group you wish to retrieve the data from.

Alternate Methods

If you do not have an FTP client available to you, you may be able to use your web browser instead. To do this, visit http://ftp.chem.indiana.edu/ - You may be prompted for a username and password for certain directories.
